Agreement and eligibility

Your use of RUSH ID means you accept these Terms and the rules that apply to the service.

By accessing or using RUSH ID, you agree to these Terms. The Privacy Policy explains how the site handles data. Do not use the service if you disagree with these Terms.

If you use RUSH ID for a business or organization, you confirm that you may accept these Terms for it. If you cannot legally enter this agreement, a parent or legal guardian must accept it for you.

What RUSH ID does

RUSH ID is a browser-based layout and printing tool for identification photos and Instax-style photo sheets.

RUSH ID crops and arranges a finished portrait into exact-size slots. It can add an optional name strip and create a downloadable or printable file. Photo processing stays in your browser as described in the Privacy Policy.

RUSH ID does not perform these tasks:

  • Take your source photo or improve its image quality
  • Remove backgrounds or alter clothing, faces, hair, skin, or expressions
  • Detect a face or certify compliance with official requirements
  • Submit an application or photo to any government agency
  • Store your source photo on a RUSH ID server

The hosted website currently requires no account and collects no payment. RUSH ID may add, change, or remove features under these Terms.

Your responsibilities

You control the source photo, crop, settings, output, and any file you give to another person.

You are responsible for each of these checks:

  • Permission: use only photos you own or have permission to process, including permission from the person shown
  • Source quality: start with a finished, clear portrait that has the required background, clothing, lighting, and expression
  • Current rules: confirm the receiving organization’s latest photo instructions before creating or selling a print
  • Output review: inspect the crop, orientation, name strip, paper size, dots per inch, and downloaded file
  • Print scale: use the correct paper and print at 100% or Actual size without automatic fitting
  • File security: protect downloaded and printed photos after they leave the browser session

If you prepare photos for customers, you are responsible for consent, accurate instructions, quality checks, secure handling, and delivery.

Official requirements and acceptance

RUSH ID offers measurement and framing guidance, but the receiving organization makes the final decision.

RUSH ID is not a government agency and does not act for one. A requirement preset may cite an official source, but the preset is guidance only. Requirements can change after RUSH ID verifies a source.

The app cannot inspect every rule that may affect acceptance. These rules may cover image age, background, clothing, expression, shadows, eyewear, print quality, or application-specific details.

Acceptable use

You may use RUSH ID for lawful personal work or lawful photo-service work.

Do not use RUSH ID to:

  • Create fraudulent, deceptive, unlawful, or misleading identification materials
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent a person’s identity or authority
  • Process a photo without the rights, consent, or other lawful basis you need
  • Exploit, harass, harm, or violate the rights of another person
  • Probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass the website’s security or availability controls
  • Introduce malicious code or automated traffic that degrades the service

RUSH ID may restrict access when necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or prevent harm.

Your photos and the software

You keep your photo rights. RUSH ID does not offer its source code as a public open-source project.

You retain any rights you hold in source photos and content included in your outputs. RUSH ID does not claim ownership of that content. The app does not receive a server copy of your source photo.

RUSH ID is not offered as an open-source project, and its source code is not public. If you lawfully receive a copy, the included MIT License governs your use of that copy. These Terms govern your use of the hosted RUSH ID service.

Third-party software and services remain subject to their own terms and licenses.

Availability and warranties

The service depends on browser, device, network, and printer behavior that RUSH ID does not fully control.

RUSH ID may change, suspend, or stop part of the service. The service may experience errors or interruptions. Keep your own copy of any file you need because RUSH ID is not a storage or backup service.

To the extent permitted by law, you use RUSH ID “as is” and “as available.” RUSH ID does not promise uninterrupted access or error-free operation. It does not promise acceptance or identical results across printers and devices.

Nothing in these Terms removes a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow RUSH ID to exclude.

Limits of liability

You must review the source photo, app settings, generated file, and test print before relying on an output.

To the extent permitted by law, RUSH ID and its contributors are not liable for certain losses. These include indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. This limit applies to loss arising from your use of the service. Examples include rejected applications, reprints, lost local files, missed deadlines, and third-party service failures.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability or legal remedies that applicable law protects. You remain responsible for losses caused by unlawful use or a breach of these Terms. You also remain responsible when you violate another person’s rights.

Changes to these Terms

The effective date at the top of this page tells you when the current Terms began to apply.

RUSH ID may revise these Terms when the service, law, or business practices change. The updated page will show a new effective date. RUSH ID will give additional notice when applicable law requires it.

Your continued use after the new effective date means you accept the revised Terms. Stop using RUSH ID if you do not accept a revision.

Governing law and contact

Philippine law governs these Terms, without removing rights that applicable law gives you.

Philippine law governs these Terms and disputes connected with RUSH ID. Courts and government agencies with lawful jurisdiction may hear a dispute. Nothing in these Terms restricts rights or remedies under the Consumer Act of the Philippines or other applicable law.

If a court cannot enforce one provision, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive it.
